eliminating snap and pop
hey hey all
im redording all my vinyl to my pc because im using m-audios torq, and with some of my older records there is some serious snap crackle pop action from me not taking the best care of them in the past!
any hints on what programs and how to get rid of it?

Bless UP Russell, hope life is treating you good man,
Check out the waves bundles they have some good stuff, it's probably the higher frequencies 5000khz range, try eq'ing that lower, however it might take away the sound on the tune as a whole. There's some good commercial programs for it, I'll post a link for it in the PC DAW Software sections

hey man just a heads up i went to download tha program from the link, and my virus software said that it had a virus.
so be carefull what u download!

Alot of times man, warez software triggers virus' don't worry it's not
I run ubuntu studio linux anyways lol, no virii for linux besides 4 in the late 80's Make the switch! Check out the section with linux and take a look man.
